A little about me . . .

If you could travel anywhere, where would you like to go? – My happy place is definitely lying on a beach, with my favorite beach being Kaanapali Beach in Maui. My husband and I honeymooned there and have dreamed of returning! While we wait for that trip, we enjoy Miramar Beach with our kiddos each summer.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? – In order to best care for others, you have to first put on your own oxygen mask. Similarly, you can’t pour from an empty cup. It is so important to invest and care for yourself and the results of that will pour out onto those you love.

What do you do for fun? – I enjoy coffee dates, coloring, belly laughs with friend and family… and if you were to ask my family, I am all about shenanigans!

What is your favorite movie or book? – I didn’t grow up loving reading because it was really challenging to me. As an adult, though, I really have learned to love reading books that I can relate to. Currently my two favorite books within the past few years include: Even if He Doesn’t by Kristen LaValley and The Lord is my Courage by KJ Ramsey.

Advice for Clients:

Your body is for you. The signs and symptoms you have are your body’s way of communicating its needs. Listen to it and tend to it with gentle care.
As for parents, we are going to make mistakes along the way. Apologize to your kiddos! This communicates their feelings and experiences matter and restores connection within the relationship.
